Nomi Ansari's collection at Pantene Bridal Couture Week 2012 was remarkable! It was the perfect trousseau for a Pakistani bride. Nomi Ansari reminds us why he is such a popular designer; his use of bright colours and traditional embroideries meshed with beautiful flattering cuts make for gorgeous pieces. But one is left to wonder where Nomi Ansari's designing skills went when he designed the mens pieces! I mean WTF Nomi Ansari I don't know any men who'd wear any of the mens pieces, except for the sherwani's which were slightly less of a brain fart. But he definitely did reclaim his his self with the woman's wear, it was gorgeous! The jewelry was also gorgeous, which makes me wonder who designed the jewelry (Sonar?). Enjoy the beautiful collection fit for a spring/summer wedding!

Tabassam Mughal at Pantene Bridal Couture Week 2012
Tabassam Mughal Showed her magnificent collection at Pantene Bridal Couture Week, leaving us stunned. I love her very ethnic, dramatic, and traditional approach to designing. In a short amount of time, from the companies inception in 2007, Tabassam Mughal has become style staple for many woman and her clothes are available worldwide. I especially love the multicoloured peacock pishwas (dress) in amazing shades of blues and pinks. I have been waiting to see more of that gold fringe in the first picture, that many of us Pakistanis see in our mothers/grandmothers dowries. I really hope the fringe comes back in fashion, though whether it does or not its going on my duppata's. I love the vibrant silk duppata's with delicate embroidery and fringes in my mothers dowery. Enjoy!

Asifa and Nabeel wow at PSFW and Pantene Bridal Couture Week 2012
Asifa and Nabeel are amazing designers! Their designs are very original and extremely popular. The duo showed their highly commercial designs at Pantene Bridal Couture Week 2012 and PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week. The Bridal/Formal's shown at Pantene Bridal Couture Week were gorgeous I loved the details (especially the holes in the back!). The models looked drop dead gorgeous especially Zeba. I am fostering a strong desire for a piece designed by the duo! I also loved Asifa and Nabeel's more summer/spring oriented semi-formal line showcased at PSFW, the yellows and white flowy pieces in weighted chiffons made for a fresh and summery statement. I am especially crazy about Mehreen syed's number! One of the long embroidered flowy chiffon coats are a style staple I must attain!
